Assistant Instructor Course
 
The PADI Assistant Instructor program provides PADI Divemasters, and those certified to leadership levels with other diver training organizations, with additional training as instructional assistants and dive educators. This program will build upon your abilities to organize and supervise dive activities, while concentrating on developing teaching skills.

Through independent study, classroom sessions and practical application, candidates learn to construct effective teaching presentations and conduct PADI programs.

As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you will be able to act as an instructional assistant, assume limited teaching responsibilities. Upon successfully completing the PADI Assistant Instructor program, you receive a certification card and wall certificate denoting this rating. You will also become a member of PADI and receive benefits, including the ability to purchase professional liability insurance (which may be required to conduct some activities).
 
To qualify for PADI Assistant Instructor training, you will need to be certified as a PADI Divemaster or leadership level with another recreational diver training organization, be at least 18 years old, be in good physical condition for diving and submit a medical exam form signed by a physician and have been a certified diver for at least six months and have completed and logged at least 60 open water dives with experience in night, deep and navigation.

Required performances for a succesful completion of the Assistant Instructor Course are the following: attend Course Orientation plus 6 Curriculum Presentations, give at least 2 confined water, 2 knowledge development and 1 open water presentation integrating 2 skills, pass standards exam and complete 20 skill evaluation with at least 68 points.

Extras: PADI Certification Fee is not included in the course price and has to be paid after completion of the course direct to PADI.
PADI manuals, workbooks and other materials are purchased at the dive center.
Own equipment required or to be rented at the dive center.

Euro 3 City Service Charge per diver per day
Euro 15 Dolphin Protection Fee per person for visiting Samadai Reef (Dolphin House)
Trips to Elphinestone are depending on weather conditions and a minimum number of 4 divers. An extra charge of 25 Euro per personhas to be paid on the spot.

Requirement: Minimum age 18 years, PADI Divemaster certificate or similar brevet, since 6 month certified diver, minimum of 60 logged dives, diving medical examination signed by a physician within the past year
Force Majeure: Actions of independent contractors such as Airlines, tour operations, are not the responsibility of Blue Heaven Holidays.
Refund would be based on number of days cancelled, not quality/quantity
